3516c / 3518c ip camera software sofia/sonia

Hello!

I am now researching 3516c ip camera. There is software named Sofia (more new cameras have Sonia).
Who had develop this software? Is it opensource? Are there any chance to get sources and check how does it works?

Yes, I have bought 3516c camera. Connect my pc to it via uart, load my kernel with outputting log to uart (camera`s kernel doesn`t output anything). And see Sofia log.

What company is supporting this software? Because as I understand many suppliers of ip cameras uses it, so there is one main developer of this software.

Is Sofia/Sonia suitable only for HiSi cameras or for TI (DM365/DM368) too?

You need IPC products or IPC case?

You buy ipc to use R&D?

As I understand SDK for 3518c and 3516c are same. Chips are quite similar.

To hilinux:
Yes, I buy IPC and use it for R&D :)

Nikita, have you figured out anything yet?
I bought some of these hi35xx based cameras. The software on the camera is named sofia.
I want to know how to configure the camera programmatically, like set password, make it use DHCP.
