可是骆驼铃远了，你听。
抽陀螺挽你，放风筝牵你，
叫纸鹰、纸燕、纸雄鸡三只四只
飞上天——上天可是迎南来雁？
而且我可是哪些孩子们的玩具？
且上图书馆借一本《候鸟问题》。
且说你赞成呢还是反对
飞机不得经市空得新禁令？
我的思绪像小蜘蛛骑的游丝
系我适足以飘我。我要走。

Or let paper-eagles, paper-swallows, paper-cocks, three or four,
Fly up to the sky-up to meet the southward geese?

The city’s ordinance to ban airplanes from the city sky?
My thoughts are like the webbing strings small spiders ride upon,

How can I be like a desperate radio,
Doing nothing but stretching two arms above the roof,
Failing to catch the distant waves we want.
